SAROS Guide – How to Quickly Farm Lucenite

Lucenite is the abundant yellow primary resource in SAROS, and it’s used to unlock most of the nodes in the Armor Matrix. While widely available during Cycles, you’ll need large quantities of it as you seek to improve your stats and abilities — including those that directly affect Lucenite collection itself.

This guide covers every efficient method for farming Lucenite quickly, from world pickups and enemy drops to Artefacts and Armor Matrix upgrades that multiply your gains.

💰 Quick Overview: The best Lucenite farms combine world pickups, enemy drops, and Armor Matrix upgrades. Prioritise drop duration upgrades early — they prevent Lucenite from despawning before you can collect it. And don’t forget: Aether converts to Lucenite when your Integrity is full.

🌍 World Pickups

Lucenite is plentiful out in the open, and you’ll stumble upon it on both main and side paths. However, there’s often much more hidden out of sight — in elevated locations, obscured by objects, or behind barriers. If you have the inclination, check every nook and cranny where secrets might lie.

Grinding the same biome is also a viable option — in fact, it might be the only way to max out progression until the next biome is cleared.

Golden Yellow Containers

These can supply a significant infusion of Lucenite, but they require Carcosan Keys to open. Keys themselves are a limited resource found in white Containers with a relatively low spawn chance. You might want to save keys for gates instead. The Armor Matrix has several Key Storage upgrades that allow you to start runs with keys in hand — up to a maximum of five.

⚔️ Farming Enemies

Enemy drops are an obvious source of Lucenite — but those drops can disappear in a matter of seconds. To avoid losing them:

  • Position yourself so you can safely snap up drops as soon as they appear.
  • Balance collecting with avoiding damage from other enemies and hazards.

The Lucenite drop duration upgrade in the Armor Matrix is critical here — more on that below.

🔄 Aether Orb Conversion

Aether normally restores Armor Integrity, but it will automatically convert to Lucenite if you happen to be at full Integrity already. This works as a nice bonus for avoiding damage — so keep your shield up and let the Aether work double duty.

📈 Drive Attribute

The Drive Attribute increases Lucenite gain to allow faster Proficiency upgrading. While the permanent modifiers are applied through the Armor Matrix, you can also increase it temporarily during Cycles for the duration of a given run only. Stack it when you can.

🏺 Cycle Artefacts

Artefacts are a potential reward choice when cracking open Containers. While Halcyon should be your top priority when making a choice, any Artefacts that boost Lucenite gains come in a very close second. Item attributes can affect gathering either:

  • Indirectly – by raising the Drive Attribute.
  • Directly – by increasing Lucenite gain itself.

Bear in mind: these Artefacts only exist for the duration of the Cycle — so make the most of them while you can.

🔧 Tangential Lucenite Upgrades (Armor Matrix)

These Armor Matrix upgrades are a matter of return on investment — you spend Lucenite to increase or improve your Lucenite collection bonuses going forward. Prioritise these as early as possible for the best effect.

Top Priority Upgrades

  • Larger drops from enemies – more Lucenite per kill.
  • Longer drop lifetimecritical because dropped Lucenite despawns quickly without this. It lets you finish a fight then collect, rather than chasing loot while taking damage.

Lucenite Saver

This Armor Matrix upgrade is worth spending Halcyon on — especially if you tend to die a lot during Cycles. With an initial penalty of 50% to your Lucenite pool on death, any further amount you can preserve will benefit you in the long run.

💡 Lucenite Farming Checklist – Your Quick-Reference Guide:

  • Scour every corner — hidden Lucenite is everywhere.
  • Farm the same biome repeatedly if you’re stuck.
  • Open golden Containers only when you have keys to spare.
  • Collect enemy drops fast — they despawn quickly.
  • Stay at full Integrity to convert Aether into Lucenite.
  • Prioritise Drop Duration and Drop Size upgrades early.
  • Grab Lucenite-boosting Artefacts whenever they appear.
  • Invest in Lucenite Saver if you die often.

Follow these steps, and you’ll have more Lucenite than you know what to do with — which is exactly when you start upgrading everything else. 💰⚡

That’s everything you need to know about farming Lucenite efficiently in SAROS. Now get out there, break some Containers, farm those enemies, and unlock the full power of the Armor Matrix. 🧠🔫
